BACKGROUND
Emadlangeni Skills Development Academy NPC was formed by Emadlangeni Social Club under the leadership of Mr. Mgazi M Ntshangase in 2019 and was officially registered with Companies and Intellectual Property Commission CIPC in 2021 as a Non-Profit Company and as a Nonprofit Organisation under Department of Social Development in Utrecht (Emadlangeni Municipality).
MISSION STATEMENT
Is to provide, empower, support, discover new talents and to fight unemployment in our community and in South Africa at large. Over and above, our mission is provide food security for the needy and warmth, which is a shelter to the poor and safety to victims of GBV in our community and in our country at large.

Is to create employment through our daily activities and programmes and to see happy people in our community and in our country at large.

Education and Training
1. We are educating everyone who lives in South Africa about their human rights, time and time we have open platform to educate about human rights and after our session, we take questions and answer them on the spot.
2. Our focus is around critical human rights issues with a main aim of protecting and promoting human rights to all people living in South Africa.
Protect and Promote Human Rights
1. Everyone has inherent dignity and the right to have their dignity respected and protected.
2. Everyone has the right to freedom of conscience, religion, thought, belief and opinion.
3. Everyone has a right to have access to social security including if they are unable to support themselves and their dependents appropriate social assistance.
4. Everyone has the right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or wellbeing; and to have the environment protected, for the benefit of present and future generations.
5. Everyone has the right to have access to health care services, including reproductive health care; sufficient food and water; and social security, including, if they are unable to support themselves and their dependents, appropriate social assistance.
Grant-making
1. We work with donors and sponsors in regards to social ill issues and align their resources with the needs of organisations for social justice in Southern Africa.
Advocacy
1. We organise and advocacy a lead of awareness for social protection in Southern Africa communities.
2. We are a voice of (LGBT) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender in the Southern African communities for social justice for all.
3. We are a voice of (GBV) Gender Based Violence in Southern Africa communities for social justice for all.
Humanitarian Crisis
1. We are a caring organisation when comes to humanitarian crisis, we intervene in a various ways to respond in humanitarian issues to extend our helping hand to affected people in the Southern Africa communities.
ACTIVITIES
Bringing Change
Emadlangeni Skills Development Academy NPC is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Activities and Programmes (5years to 18 years)
We have programmes and activities that develops, empower and mentoring of our youngsters and youth from (5years of age to 18years) we are offering Ceramic Art, Acting Classes, Poetry and Motion, Dance, Drums, Soccer and Traditional Zulu Music including Marimba Band. We also have a programme of assisting our learners with homework and school projects.
Activities and Programmes (18years to 55years)
We have activities and programmes for young adults and elders (18years to 55years) doing Beadwork, Bricks Baking, Bricklaying, Steel/Metalwork, Woodwork, Aluminium Work, Cake Backing, Basic Electrical Engineering, Travel and Tourism, Art and Crafts, Sewing Traditional Clothing: Amabheshu, Izimbatha, Udidla, Izidwaba, Amahawu, Izicole, Imiqhele, We also do household accessories like Izinkemba (wooden cooking spoons), Amacansi (Indigenous Mat), Izinkemba and Izinqoko (Wooden Meat Platter).
Programmes for Woman, Children and Young Girls
We have imbokodo round table a programme of psychological, moral and emotional support. The purpose of this programme is to provide security, warmth, acceptance and safety to Woman and Child who are victims of Domestic Violence, Rape, HIV/Aids and Covid-19.

COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT
At Emadlangeni Skills Development Academy NPC, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing our ill issues in our community: GBV, LGBTQ, Drug Abuse, Children Abuse, HIV/AIDS, Covid-19, Unemployment, Food Security, Crime, Clean Water and Climate Change etc.
